Dr. Cotton is driven as much by her love of vocal pedagogy as for the stage, and enjoys any opportunity to combine the two passions. She currently teaches voice at Duke University, where she also teaches diction, class voice, art song performance, and musical theater performance. Dr. Cotton previously taught voice and diction at UNC Greensboro and Guilford College. Additional teaching interests include stage movement, aesthetics, history and performance of art song, and the marriage of theory and practice in singing.
